Xelera rolls out new Drupal website for Vehco
Vehco is one of Europe's largest suppliers of systems for Fleet Management Systems (FMS), with over 800 customers in 11 countries. Of course the company's new website is multilingual and packed with both information and smart features.
Vehco's new website - corporate home page.
- Xelera has done an excellent job! I particularly enjoyed working with the team; they always told me about the status of the project before I even asked and were very responsive. In addition, the results fits the worksheet 100 %, which seeing the technical constraints is a real performance, says Pauline Bernière, Group Marketing Manager at Vehco.
Vehco’s new website, built in Drupal, is actually several - 5 local for Vehco’s largest national markets (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and France), each with its own unique product catalog and download center, and a corporate website with general information about Vehco, mirrored into multiple languages. The design and administration is the same on all sites, but the content and domains differ.
- The major challenge was to manage the technology and structure around having multiple domains within the same site installation and the fact that the company website is available in many languages. I'm very proud and pleased with the result, says Andreas Bonebjär on Xelera, the project’s designer in charge.
In addition to advanced language management, nationally adapted product catalogues and a download center where customers log in to take part of product specifications, images and brochures, there are many other features on Vehco’s new website.
The media bank makes it easy for the editors to upload and work with photos, video and documents anywhere on the site. News management and archiving along with lists of employees, partners, references and cases with links to pages with further information or to other websites give visitors plenty of reasons to linger on the site.
- What I really like about this website is the easiness of the administration. It is made to update information in a coherent way on all the site and minimizing duplicates, says Pauline Bernière.
