Xata remains committed to being the industry’s most “device-friendly” fleet management solution

CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW, LAS VEGAS, January 12, 2012—Xata Corporation (NASDAQ: XATA), a leader in fleet optimization software, today announced that it has added the Motorola Xyboard to its quickly growing list of Android tablet computers certified to work with the Xata Turnpike fleet management solution.

Xata continues to outpace its competition by certifying the cutting-edge devices that fleets of all sizes and owner-operations are choosing to help them improve compliance, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.

The Xyboard, Motorola’s next-generation tablet, is lighter and more powerful than its predecessors and is available with both an 8.2-inch and 10.1-inch widescreen HD display. Both models provide the power of dual-core 1.2GHz processors and feature 1GB of RAM, all protected by Motorola’s water-repellent, nano-coating, which resists accidental spills and splashes.

“As an industry leader in innovation, we’re working hard to ensure that Xata Turnpike is available on the newest, most useful and most popular mobile devices on the market today,” said Christian Schenk, vice president, product marketing, Xata. “We’ve certified a dozen Android devices in just the past year, giving our customers the ultimate in flexibility and choice.”
