Xata and ALK Technologies Launch CoPilot Truck 8 Professional for XataNet Providing Fleets with New Functionality and Platform Availability

A fully on-board navigation solution, CoPilot Truck 8 Professional calculates optimal, truck-specific routes on-board without using mobile communications or off-board computations, ensuring the most reliable, rapid access to offline highway and street-level digital maps. Voice-guided, truck-specific turn-by-turn directions are automatically generated, with optimal new routes instantly calculated if a driver misses a turn or deviates from the planned route.

- CoPilot ClearTurn: Provides a clear, realistic view on the approach to complex intersections and highway exits.
- Updated PC*MILER 25 Routing: Includes more than 3.5 million commercial truck restrictions and allowances, including bridge heights and clearances, load limits, weight limits and allowances, one-way road designations, left-hand and dangerous turn restrictions as well as truck-restricted, and truck-designated roads. It also includes millions of points of interest including truck services, truck stops, rest areas and weigh stations.
In addition to enhanced functionality, CoPilot Truck 8 Professional is now available for use on Micronet’s CE-504 and CE-507 in-cab touchscreen devices.
