Family-owned health sciences company opens new international location in Florida and is ranked again by Inc. Magazine as one of America’s fastest growing companies.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Wednesday, September 19, 2012 – XYMOGEN, a family-owned, health sciences company headquartered in Orlando, Florida, has officially opened the doors to its high-tech global headquarters and manufacturing facility . At the same time, Inc. Magazine has ranked the company for the fifth time as one of America’s top 5,000 fastest growing private businesses.

XYMOGEN founder Brian Blackburn says he’s doubly proud of what his company and staff have achieved with the new headquarters and another Inc. Magazine recognition. Blackburn decided to build the company’s headquarters after the continued growth of his 25-year-old business forced them out of their prior location. In addition to distributing high-quality dietary supplements to licensed healthcare practitioners around the world, XYMOGEN will also be manufacturing products from their new headquarters.

The company’s growth has not gone unnoticed; XYMOGEN has been recognized as one of Inc. Magazine’s 5,000 fastest growing private businesses for five of the last six years. As a nutraceutical company, it has introduced numerous innovations to the functional medicine community.

“We have been very strategic and fortunate to be able to grow our company here where we live, enabling us to preserve our focus on family and business,” Blackburn said. “We’re hugely competitive and having our headquarters here in Orlando enables us to continue our successful path. To be recognized again by Inc. Magazine is just icing on the cake.”

XYMOGEN’s new 136,000 square foot, glass edifice, presents a striking figure far different from when Blackburn and his wife, Stephanie, started the business 25 years ago.  The complex’s design strategically weaves a cutting edge manufacturing system, retail services, product research labs, customer care and administrative services under one massive roof.

The inviting glass entryway offers an immediate view of the new company’s new bottling room, providing a unique and real-time perspective to all who enter. The tiled lobby includes XYMOGEN’S new retail store where guests, sales teams and practitioners can conduct business and learn about the latest products. The lobby area also includes two digital touch panels for information to navigate the property.

Meanwhile, the increasing success of XYMOGEN’s health conferences required the company to include its own conference center enabling practitioners, sales and marketing teams to host educational programs year-round in Orlando for international audiences.

XYMOGEN has more than 195 employees, 32 of which are professional Functional Medicine Consultants who do business in 18 states and Canada with planned expansion into Australia, South America and South Africa.
