Falu District Court approves YA Holding’s subsidiary YrkesAkademin AB’s restructuring plan

Falu District Court has today, 15 April 2024, approved YrkesAkademin AB’s restructuring plan, an important step towards creating long-term sustainable financial conditions for the business.

As announced in a press release on 4 March 2024, stakeholders in YA Holding AB's (publ) ("YA Holding") wholly owned subsidiary YrkesAkademin AB's ongoing company restructuring were summoned to a plan hearing (Sw. planförhandling) as part of YrkesAkademin AB's restructuring process. The plan hearing was held on 8 April 2024 in Falu District Court. YA Holding now announces that Falu District Court has approved the restructuring plan submitted by YrkesAkademin AB and offered to its creditors. The district court's decision can be appealed for three weeks, no later than 6 May 2024, after which the decision gains legal force. Thereafter and provided that the decision enters into force, the restructuring of YrkesAkademin AB that has been ongoing since 4 September 2023 will be terminated.

YA Holding intends to commence the implementation of the refinancing arrangement announced by YA Holding in a press release on 1 March 2024 after the District Court's decision has gained legal force. Further information regarding the detailed timetable for the implementation of the refinancing arrangement for YA Holding will be published via a press release in connection with the termination of the company restructuring in YrkesAkademin AB. The refinancing arrangement in YA Holding is expected to be implemented within four weeks thereafter.

As a consequence of the restructuring of YrkesAkademin AB and today's decision from the district court, YA Holding has decided to postpone the publication of the annual report for YA Holding to 15 May 2024.
