YAMATO TO SHOWCASE ITS WORLD CLASS WEIGHING SOLUTIONS AT FOODEX

Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK is set to turn the spotlight onto some of its leading weighing machinery at a prestigious packaging technology show in April.

Yamato will be attending the bi-annual Foodex 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham to demonstrate the vital role that checkweighers, multihead weighers and table top weighers play throughout the food packaging process. The team will be located at stand P290, Hall 20.

The company will be exhibiting both its Table Top Semi-automatic Dataweigh (TDSW) range and its I-Series checkweighers at the event.

Yamato’s I-Series checkweigher is a high performance, resilient piece of weighing machinery that has applications across the food and non-food industries, with several bespoke options available to provide the optimised solution for the handling and rapid weighing of products.

All the packaging and weighing solutions developed by Yamato are tailored to the customer’s products by its highly skilled engineers. They have considerable experience with packaging lines and ensuring product requirements align with automation processes.

If products are delicate or fragile in nature, then a low impact solution such as the Table Top Semi-Automatic Dataweigh may provide the perfect solution. This combination scale allows fixed weight packages of vegetables and meat to be manually checked and weighed at up to 30 packs per minute.

“We’re excited to be showcasing at the Foodex 2016 event,” said Andrea Spencer, commercial operations manager for Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK.

“Many customers are interested in the process and machinery that keeps their lines running behind the scenes. This event gives us a valuable opportunity to engage with them and discuss how they can best achieve their objectives with Yamato’s checkweighers and range of weighing machines.”
