A NEW LOOK FOR YIT – FLEXIBLE SOLUTIONS NEAR THE CUSTOMER
YIT Group has updated and modernised its look to more accurately describe today's international YIT and its competitive advantages. The purpose of the new look is to indicate a reliable company that is easy to approach and that serves with professionalism by providing flexible and high-quality solutions at all stages of project lifecycles.
YIT has developed rapidly during the past decade: the Group's revenue and number of staff have tripled, and operations have expanded to ten new countries. The vision of the company is to lead the way in creating and maintaining good living environments. Solutions related to sustainable construction and maintenance as well as energy-saving and energy production are key focus areas in YIT's business.
YIT's logo, a timeless identifier of top-notch engineering competence, will remain unchanged. The blue colour, referring to the company being Finnish, will remain, but we have also included new colours appearing in the urban living environment, such as tarmac grey, sand brown and Scandinavian white. The arch included in the YIT look, which depicts the lifecycle of products, is more diverse and dynamic in the new look. Environmentally sound paper and printing methods are used in printed products.
At the same time, the visual aspects of YIT will be updated and harmonised to support the new look. Pictures will highlight genuine moments, real people and realistic environments where YIT is present in one way or other: you park your car in a security-controlled parking garage, work at a comfortable office, go to a grocery store where there is proper ventilation, and relax in a functional home. The operating concept of the company is to develop and build as well as help customers utilise the created living environments.
The new look will be implemented gradually, and it will mark YIT's 100th anniversary in 2012. The YIT Home concept will also be changed in Finland to match the new shared look.
