Notification according to Chapter 9, Section 10 of the Securities Markets Act of change in holdings in YIT Corporation shares

YIT Corporation has on December 17, 2015 received an announcement under Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Securities Markets Act, according to which the holding of Polaris Capital Management, LLC in YIT has exceeded the threshold of 5 per cent.

According to the announcement, the holding of Polaris Capital Management, LLC in YIT has increased to 6,506,138 shares, corresponding to 5.11 per cent of YIT's shares. Polaris Capital Management, LLC held 4,664,857 voting rights in YIT on December 17, 2015, which is 3.67 percent of voting rights in YIT.

On December 15, 2015, YIT announced that that the holding of Polaris Capital Management, LLC in YIT had decreased below 5 per cent; to 6,302,538 shares, corresponding to 4.95 per cent of YIT’s shares, and the number of voting rights to 4,461,257, corresponding to 3.51 per cent of voting rights in YIT.

YIT has one share series, each share entitling to one vote. YIT’s registered total number of shares amounting to 127,223,422 has been used in the calculation of percentages for the announcement.
