YIT has acquired a plot in St. Petersburg, Russia

YIT has acquired a plot for an area development project in St. Petersburg, Russia. The approximately 2.4-hectare plot is located in the Primorsky district, and the plan is to build approximately 800 apartments on the plot in several phases. The first phase is scheduled to start in the first half of 2018.

The acquired plot is located on the north side of the St. Petersburg centre and Neva river. The service offering in the area is wide, and the nearby railway station and metro stations enable good transportation connections to different parts of the city.

The aim of the plot acquisition is to enable maintaining the operating volume in Russia, according to YIT’s strategy.
