YIT has won numerous road maintenance contracts for 2020-2025

YIT has won four state road maintenance contracts for 2020-2025. The contracts cover Kotka, Juva, Lieto and Kemijärvi-Posio. The total value of the contracts is approximately EUR 56 million, and they will be booked in the order backlog of the second quarter of the year. The contracts will commence on October 1, 2020 and will last for five years.

YIT manages public and private road and street networks in ELY centers, cities and municipalities. A collaborative project model is used for road maintenance contracts. YIT also carries out street and road construction as well as green and municipal engineering work. YIT has a PANU Service Center, which is on duty 24 hours a day to assist contractors in monitoring weather conditions and providing up-to-date information.
