This year, the theme of YIT’s Annual Report is A living city is built together. In recent years, and during 2017 in particular, YIT has strengthened its competitiveness through partnerships and learned a lot about partnerships. The work will also continue in the coming years.

The new YIT saw daylight on February 1, 2018 with the merger of YIT and Lemminkäinen, so the Annual Report will be the last of the old YIT. The merger is a strategically important step for YIT on its path to becoming one of the leading urban developers in the Northern European construction market.

Through Annual Report´s theme, we want to underline how fluent cooperation between different operators is the key to visionary urban development, a happy working community and thereby to successful projects and growth. The Annual Report aims to describe how YIT creates added value for its customers, shareholders, partners, personnel and other stakeholders. In addition, the Board of Directors’ review contains YIT’s statement of non-financial information.
