YIT started the construction of the second phase of an area project in the city centre of Bratislava, Slovakia

YIT started the construction of the second phase of “STEIN2” area development project in the city centre of Bratislava, Slovakia. The project’s second phase will consist of nearly 100 apartments and its value is around EUR 16 million. The second phase of the project will be completed in early 2018 and the start-up will be recorded in the first quarter of 2016.

The area named STEIN2 will be constructed on the outskirts of the Old Town of Bratislava, in the area of the former Stein brewery with respect for the old area and buildings. A total of over 400 apartments and nearly 30 commercial premises will be constructed in the 1.7-hectare area by 2020. The total value of the project is over EUR 70 million and it will be constructed in five phases. In addition to apartment buildings and commercial premises, new infrastructure, green areas and squares for public use will be constructed in the area. The project enjoys excellent public transportation connections, central location and proximity to all public amenities. The demand for the project’s first phase has been very good.
