YIT starts the construction of its last apartment building in Kalevanrinne city block, Tampere, Finland

YIT starts the construction of an apartment building project in Kalevanrinne, Tampere, Finland. The project is Asunto Oy Tampereen Topaasi with over 60 apartments to be sold. The total value of the project is approximately EUR 14 million, and the start-ups are recorded in the order backlog in the first quarter. The project is estimated to be completed in February 2018.

Tampereen Topaasi is YIT’s last project in the modern city block of Kalevanrinne, with an excellent location next to the light railway to be constructed. The complex of YIT in Kalevanrinne consists of two city blocks with altogether seven buildings and approximately 480 apartments. The first project was started in March 2015. In addition to good bus connections and light traffic network, the location is well surrounded by shops and recreation services. The Topaasi apartments are currently at the pre-marketing stage.
