YIT starts the construction of Valon kortteli city block in Tikkurila, Vantaa, Finland

YIT starts the construction of Valon kortteli area development project in centre of Tikkurila in Vantaa, Finland. The project consists of five apartment buildings and the construction of the first apartment building called Vantaan Sarastus will start in October. With 16 floors, Sarastus will consist of almost 130 apartments with living area of approximately 5,800 square metres. Sarastus will be completed by summer 2018 and its value is approximately EUR 30 million.
Valon kortteli city block will consist of approximately 380 apartments with living area of over 16,800 square metres. The value of the whole project is approximately EUR 90 million and it will be completed during 2020. According to its name (the City Block of Light), special attention will be given to light and lighting in this project. The lightning for the project will be designed by a lightning designer whose focus area will be the lightning of building facades and yards.
