Calling All Cheese Enthusiasts
Entries are now being taken for one of the country’s top cheese and dairy shows with a wide range of classes available. The Great Yorkshire Cheese and Dairy Show is a hugely popular section of the annual Great Yorkshire Show and draws entries from across the UK. Last year some 800 were received.
Dates for this year’s event are Tuesday 14 – Thursday 16 July with classes for ice cream, milk, butter, cream and yoghurt as well as for different types of cheese. The Great Yorkshire Show is England’s premier agricultural event attracting around 130,000 visitors over the three days. It combines competitive classes, exciting displays and demonstrations, fashion shows, a food hall showcasing regional food and drink, and miles and miles of shopping offered by more than 1,000 trade stands. The venue is the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate.
