OpusCapita offers its customers direct connections with Central European banks
The software company OpusCapita is continuing to expand its services on the European market. OpusCapita now offers its customers a direct, user-friendly connection with Central European banks with the aid of the EBICS (Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard) transmission protocol.
EBICS is a bank transmission standard that has rapidly gained popularity in Europe. In Germany and France, for instance, it has been made a national standard. In many other countries too, European banks offer cash management services through an EBICS connection.
“This new connection is the next step forward in OpusCapita’s expansion on the European market. We can now offer direct connections with key European banks through our SWIFT partners and using EBICS. Which of these is the better solution depends on the company’s needs and size,” says OpusCapita’s Product Manager, Jukka Sallinen.
Access to direct connections with Central European banks is important news for OpusCapita’s larger customers in Finland and the other Nordic countries.
“We are one of the first software companies in the Nordic countries to offer EBICS connections. In fact, our first EBICS project with a customer is already under way,” says Sallinen.
“The EBICS standard is likely to develop into a popular alternative for many major banks offering cash management services. We are able to offer the best connection for all businesses operating in Central Europe.”
