Before Amanda Bynes was on the 90s hit Nickelodeon show All That, there was Angelique Bates. Recently, Bates went on the Swedish Art is Alive podcast to tell host Zeventine (alias for Gustav Elfstrom) what it was like doing the show and growing up as a child star.

Angelique Bates's breakthrough was at age 12 when she landed the gig on Nickelodeon's hit sketch comedy show All That in the early 90s. As an adult, she went on to book roles in Strong Medicine, Boston Public and even had an appearance in the 2014 posthumous Michael Jackson music video for Love Never Felt So Good ft. Justin Timberlake.

Bates recently went on Art is Alive, the Swedish pop culture podcast and told the show's host Zeventine, what it was like growing up as a child actress, moving to Florida to film All That and hanging out backstage with the late R&B icon Aaliyah.

Zeventine, alias for Gustav Elfstrom, hosts Art is Alive; a pop culture podcast from Sweden where he talks to people in the entertainment industry about their lives and careers. He also frequently collaborates with Paramount+ in Sweden for the show and recently interviewed the cast of iCarly.
