With the pandemic bringing constant uncertainty to a recovering travel sector, Zimpler’s offerings arewell-fittedto current customer needs. For merchants, Zimpler is an alternative to more traditional payment methods (such as credit cards), offering flexibility for cashflow money withdrawals on a daily basis. Zimpler’s embedded KYC processes also provide a user-friendly and secure payment flow with broad bank coverage in all markets.

Alex Pappas, Sales Manager at Zimpler, says: “While credit card companies classify the travel sector as higher risk now compared to pre-COVID, we are happy to offer a product that broadens Scandinavian Travel Group's payment coverage and leads to higher conversion. In times when merchants in the sector must deal with refunds more than ever, we believe it is crucial to offer them a payment method that makes the process instant and smooth.”

Jesper Lindgren, CEO at Scandinavian Travel Group, says: “We’re glad to be able to broaden our payment coverage through the partnership with Zimpler. Being a travel agent is associated with a number of issues related to payments, both for us and our customers. With Zimpler, we can make the payment process smooth and reliable for our customers, and still cater to the business needs.”
