Marcel Mensink appointed President Operations

Marcel Mensink has been appointed President Operations for Cloetta. He succeeds Jacqueline Hoogerbrugge who in December announced that she will leave Cloetta.

Marcel Mensink will as President Operations be responsible for the Cloetta Supply Chain including production and procurement.

Marcel Mensink has been working at Mars since 1998 in the three different divisions Confectionary, Food and Petcare, including Operations shift Manager at the chocolate factory in Veghel, Manufacturing Director for the Mars Food business in the UK and European Supply Director for Mars Care & Treats. He is currently Supply Director for Mars Petcare in Europe.

Marcel Mensink was born in 1971 and has a BSc in Food technology and MSc MBA.

“Marcel Mensink has a solid and proven track record from improving efficiency and running multiple factories across Europe, something that makes him very well suited for the role. Improving efficiency in the Supply Chain through Lean is one of the core objectives for Cloetta Supply Chain for the coming years,” says Henri de Sauvage-Nolting, CEO and President of Cloetta.

Marcel Mensink will report to the CEO and be part of Group Management. He will assume his position on 1 October, 2017.
