- Etteplan has signed a new framework agreement with Scania as a supplier of engineering services within research and development.

Scania CV has appointed Etteplan as a supplier of engineering services within research and development for assignments within their automotive development. All units within the Scania Group can order services within several technology areas such as, for example, hardware and software development, project management, design, battery technology as well as technical documentation.

The purpose of the framework agreement is to regulate and facilitate the cooperation between the parties and to ensure access to expertise within technology areas which are not covered by Scania’s own personnel.

The framework agreement is valid from 1 January 2017 and covers 2 years with the option of extension for one more year.

- “We are very proud to be trusted by Scania to help them strengthen their competitiveness. Through the agreement with us, Scania will have access to some of Sweden’s most experienced engineers within the Automotive industry. The agreement will also lead to new job opportunities in Etteplan, mainly in the Stockholm and Oskarshamn areas. The cooperation with Scania is strategic for us and confirms Etteplan’s position as one of the leading suppliers of engineering services”, says Mikael Vatn, SVP Central & Western Europe, Etteplan.
