Ynys Môn MP Albert Owen visits Minesto to boost marine energy

Last week, Minesto had the honour to be visited by Albert Owen MP at the company’s UK headquarters in Holyhead. Mr Owen was given an update of Minesto’s tidal energy project in North West Wales and he was also shown some of the subsystems for Minesto’s first commercial-scale installation in Holyhead Deep off the coast of Anglesey.

In a press release issued by Albert Owen MP, he said: “I was delighted to receive the update from Project Controller Osian Roberts. The Deep Green is a state-of-the-art project which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government”.

Minesto seeks Test Rig Developer

We are looking for a Test Rig Developer to join the team in Gothenburg. Main tasks is developing, building and maintaining new and existing test rigs for Minesto’s products. We are looking for a motivated problem-solver who wants to develop and grow with Minesto.
