Pihlajalinna and Mänttä-Vilppula social and healthcare outsourcing contract signed by the end of May

Mänttä-Vilppula city board chose Pihlajalinna as the service provider of city's social and healthcare services on the 9 February 2016. 

Attendo filed a Rectification of Procurement of Mänttä-Vilppula's procurement decision and filed a complaint to the Market Court. The Rectification of Procurement was rejected by Mänttä-Vilppula. Mänttä-Vilppula city has now told that they have received information that  the complaint has been retracted from the Market Court.

Pihlajalinna and Mänttä-Vilppula can now start the negotiations that will lead to the enforcement of the social and healthcare outsourcing contract. The final contract is intended to be signed as soon as possible by the end of May.  

Pihlajalinna has a valid servicecontract with Mänttä-Vilppula. Pihlajalinna continues to provide social and healthcare services uninterrupted.

Mänttä-Vilppula tender included the social and healthcare services for up to 60 000 inhabitants for 10 year contract period initially during the time period between 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2026. The contract has also a five year additional option. Mänttä-Vilppula has approximately 11 000 population and estimated social and healthcare net cost of EUR 40 million.
