Bengt Olsen appointed new CFO of SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge
Olsen is leaving the position of CFO and Deputy Managing Director of DIPS AS, to join SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge as new CFO.
He has previously held the position of finance manager in Nordlandsbanken. Olsen is an economist by trade, and holds a master in international economics.

Supervisory board member of SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge
The 48-year-old has been with DIPS since 2004. He has been one of the main architects behind what has led DIPS from being a small company with 30 employees and 15 percent market share, to today's 280 employees and 85 percent market share. At the same time, Olsen has been part of the supervisory board of SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge since 2016.
– Through the supervisory board, I have gained in-depth knowledge of SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge's activities. It has given me a strong motivation for the job as CFO. Not only because I associate myself with the vision of SpareBank 1 Nord- Norge, the values and the business model of the company, but also because I believe I can contribute to further development, says Olsen.

Olsen will be joining in the first quarter of 2019, taking over for Rolf Eigil Bygdnes who retires.
