Valio celebrates a heritage of innovation at the annual FIC in Shanghai, China
Food Ingredients China (FIC) will once again be held in the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai 24.-26.3. 2017. An event with over 1400 exhibitors offers Valio an excellent opportunity to show our Asian customers why we are the most innovative dairy company in the world.
Valio’s history goes closely hand-in-hand with Finnish history. As Finland celebrates its centennial year, Valio’s research laboratory is also turning 100. Our Nobel Prize-winning heritage and long traditions of innovation and excellence have resulted in 351 granted patents across 50 countries, and to this day we still average about 100 new products to market each year.

Among the most significant innovations found in our portfolio is Valio’s unique Lactose free offering and our Baby Food Solutions. Kari Finska explains Valio’s offering for Baby Food Solutions a little further; “We offer everything from high-quality ingredients and tailor-made blends to Valio Base Powders, which can be either based on our own high-quality recipes or fully customised to meet your specifications.” Our expertise in these product groups will be among one of the top topics at our stand at FIC again this year.
Kari Finska continues; “It is this dedication and knowhow to high-quality dairy products that can be seen, and more importantly tasted, in all our products. This includes our Baby Food Solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of the Chinese market.”
Last year’s FIC event was a success with 440 global companies alongside their Chinese counterparts presenting products and techniques in a wide range of different categories. This year promises to be just as interesting. “China being one of our most important markets for our whey and milk powders, we always look forward to meeting all our existing and potential customers,” Kari Finska explains.
