SEK Annual Report 2017: The positive trend for Swedish exports was reflected in SEK's lending
2017 was a successful year for Swedish exports as well as for SEK (The Swedish Export Credit Corporation). New lending increased to Skr 89 billion (55 billion in 2016), which enabled more companies to win more export transactions. New lending is one of the highest in SEK's history, and is due, among other things, to some major export credits.
Swedish export industry developed strongly during the year. The rise in exports is linked to the strong economic climate in major European economies, as well as in the US and China.
"It is gratifying to note that Sweden is keeping pace with the rest of the world regarding exports to emerging countries" says SEK's CEO, Catrin Fransson
SEK's annual report is now available as pdf. Due to our sustainability policy, the annual report is printed in a limited edition.
