AcadeMedia announces preliminary financial results for the fourth quarter 2021/2022

Report this content

AcadeMedia’s net sales increased by 4.9 percent in the fourth quarter and are anticipated to be SEK 3 850 million (3 672). The average number of children and students, excluding the Adult Education Segment, increased by 3.6 percent to 93,308 (90,032). Adjusted operating profit is estimated to be in line with the previous year at approximately SEK 280 million (281).

Overall the quarter developed well with continued good increase in the number of children and students. Operating profit was impacted by lower profitability in the Norwegian preschool operation as well as a lower number of participants in parts of the Adult Education Segment following a strong labour market after the pandemic.

All figures in this press release are preliminary and unaudited. AcadeMedia will not make any further comments until after the year-end report for 2020/21 is published Tuesday August 30, at 08:00 CEST, as earlier communicated.
