AcadeMedia’s Higher Vocational Education had a record-breaking start with more than 10,200 participants, an increase of 25 percent compared to the last fiscal year. Swedish Education Group AB, acquired in December 2020, contributed with 19 percentage points of the total growth.

- We are proud to be able to contribute to an education form of great importance to Sweden and the Swedish business community. The fact that we now offer more than 10,000 participants the opportunity for a new future through our higher vocational training and the chance to employment will also make Swedish companies more competitive, says Christer Hammar, head of AcadeMedia's Adult Education Segment.

The growth in AcadeMedia’s Higher Vocational Education (HVE) is mainly attributable to an increased number of awarded training programmes, combined with more students applying to start HVE programmes this autumn and more students completing their education. The latter is an effect of our systematic quality work and good cooperation with the business community and industry organisations.
