Mid-market software provider partners with Optix

Colchester UK, 19 March 2014 – Access Group, the mid-market software company, has announced it has teamed up with Optix, the leading provider of practice management software for opticians. The partnership will see Optix offering Access Dimensions and aCloudHR solutions to the sector, integrating with its practice management system.

“Working in partnership with Access we are able to offer an award winning accounting software solution that integrates with our own acclaimed business management system for opticians,” said FD for Optix, Andrew Harrison. “We use Access Dimensions in our own organisation and rate it highly. We were able to submit our year end audit pack to our accountants just three weeks after our year end because of it. We know it’s a perfect fit for our marketplace and our customers will benefit greatly from what Access has to offer.”  

The Optix practice management software was developed by optician Trevor Rowley, when running his own practice, Viewpoint based in York. “I was frustrated because I couldn’t find any practice management software that met the needs of my business so I decided to create a solution,” said Trevor. “We also needed it to be integrated into a back-end finance system for which we chose Access Dimensions. Our own experience has proved it to be a solid, reliable system that works well with Optix. We’ve already referred three other practices so we were delighted to be invited to become an Access partner.”
