Access highlight the importance of having the right WMS at Foodex 2014
Access is to showcase its warehouse management system (WMS), Access Delta (WMS) at Foodex, NEC Birmingham from 24 - 26th March 2014 on stand K369. Visitors will be able to see the benefits of an integrated WMS and the gains it can offer warehouse and logistics businesses. The goal of the event is to help businesses un-cover any missed opportunities in profitability, capacity utilisation, on-time delivery and productivity.
Ian Roper, SCS Divisional Director, for Access, commented, "We work with businesses in the wholesale, transport and third party logistics sectors and are looking to share our experiences. Our integrated systems have helped organisations to lessen the administrative strain of managing complex supply chain operations, making them much more efficient and leaner in the process. We want to show what we offer is for everyone in the industry."
Ian continues, "Access Delta, has been proven to meet the increasing challenges faced in warehouse inventory management, whilst bringing with it efficiency gains of up to 25%, resulting in faster order to ship times. Being easy and quick to install, our graphical warehouse map allows real-time stock management and seamless communication, making for better customer relationships. We'll be there to elaborate on these sort of benefits whilst demonstrating the software's functionality."
The team will also be answering any questions following their recent white paper; Space and Stock: The Financial Frontier, providing an insight to warehousing and logistics businesses, offering an understanding to the importance of a strong WMS solution, through functionality and benefits.
Ian adds, "Our solution experts will also be on hand to answer any questions delegates might have, such as how to get the most out of suppliers, reduce wastage across their business, and how to collaborate with their supply chain, optimising warehouse operations to positively affect the rest of the business."
