Access launches cloud-based BI solution for finance

Colchester, UK – 11 February 2013 – Access Group (Access) has launched its latest cloud solution in the shape of aCloud Insight Finance console, providing collaborative business intelligence on the move from any device.  The out-of-the-box console for finance professionals allows instant access to key daily KPIs, with instant messaging tools to enable discussion on the figures in real-time.

Stuart Allsopp, CTO for Access, commented, “The aCloud Insight Finance console is the first in a series of out-of-the box applications for our SaaS-based business intelligence solution. Whilst traditional management reporting provides the key numbers affecting a business, the finance console allows organisations to identify the issues and opportunities behind these figures. Individuals within the business can then collaborate and share commentary on the numbers, generating ideas and easily making annotations with virtual stickies.”

Preconfigured and requiring no prior technical skill, the console allows finance professionals to instantly view key KPIs and up-to-date information on the financial position within the business. This includes the real aged debt or creditor position with drill down to analyse and answer more detailed questions.

“Being able to filter the data means it’s easy to review trends as they’re happening and act upon the information, making the business more responsive as a result. Having ready access to core KPIs is essential to get to the heart of the numbers and make informed decisions that drive the business forward,” said Stuart.

Organisations can sign up for the scalable, mobile-friendly solution straight away, making it very fast to get up and running. Seamless integration with Access software solutions means that the business data can be quickly turned into dashboards, graphs and charts.

Additional consoles using data from across the Access product portfolio will be introduced in the coming months. For more information on aCloud Insight, visit http://www.accessacloud.com.
