City & County Healthcare Group sign £1million SaaS contract with PeoplePlanner
- Deal comes four months after PeoplePlanner join Access Group
- 500+ staff across 70 offices will use PeoplePlanner for rostering, invoicing and timesheets
Colchester, UK –1st October 2013 - City & County Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest and fastest growing national providers of personal care and support services, has signed a long-term, six year and four month contract with SaaS care management software providers PeoplePlanner. The six figure deal comes just four months after PeoplePlanner were acquired by Access Group (Access) and will see the partnership continue through until the end of the decade.
Jason Fabien, Business Process Manager at City & County Healthcare, said, “We’ve been using PeoplePlanner for three years now and have been very impressed with the functionality and ability to adapt. It’s browser-based so we can deploy it quickly without the need for local hardware in the branches, particularly important for us as we continue to rapidly expand through organic and acquisitional growth. Working with UK developers means that we can take an agile approach towards creating new features and consequently we’ve formed a strong relationship with the team.”
Jason and the team at City and Council Healthcare are well aware of the benefits that the software brings; “Every piece of information is in real-time so we get a clear picture of where we’re at, it’s fully-integrated rather than going through a 3rd party provider like a lot of the competitors, and we know our staff love using it. Last year we did an IT survey across all IT users and three quarters said it was a user-friendly system. Nearly half said it had produced a positive impact on their working day after migrating from other systems, the remainder being longer-term PeoplePlanner users where the system was already fully utilised.”
City & County Healthcare will also be using the tablet and mobile apps that PeoplePlanner offer in addition to the core rostering, invoicing and payroll data.
“We’ve been using the product for over three years, and it’s consistently being developed, and the functionality has rapidly increased in that time. Signing this new contract offers us long term stability and allows us to run our operational business better whilst being a platform for further innovations to grow from. The acquisition of PeoplePlanner into the Access Group enhances the solution in the long-term as their other systems become integrated in to the system. There is a natural synergy between our two organisations in our approach to acquiring good businesses which are then strengthened through the benefits of a larger parent company” concluded Mark Harrison, Group Finance Director.
Ian McMullon, Managing Director of Access - PeoplePlanner, added, “City and County Healthcare investing in PeoplePlanner shows their faith in the product, and that their confidence in PeoplePlanner continues now it’s part of Access.”
