Fauna & Flora International invests further in Access Group solutions

Fauna & Flora International (FFI) is a proven conservation innovator that continues to make a lasting impact on global biodiversity. The organisation has invested in Access Dimensions & FocalPoint financial and project management solutions from Access Group, expanding on their existing Access SelectHR, human capital management solution. This will continue to support its continuous growth, success and objectives.

Anna Collet, Interim Head of Finance for Fauna & Flora International, explains, “Over the past decade, FFI has grown not only in size but also in both the programmatic and geographic scale of its operations. At the same time, the complexity of FFI’s funding environment and compliance requirements of funders have increased. FFI has kept pace with these changes through the addition of internally developed project management systems (both financial and non-financial). However scalability of these solutions had become limited due to a lack of integration between systems and the manual nature of data entry and transfer.”

FFI’s projects are often delivered as a collaborative effort across multiple teams, which has increased the need for a holistic system offering centralised data which can be shared and accessed across multiple teams and offices around the world.

Access Group’s solutions offer FFI a chance to house all of its financial and project information in the same place, as well as providing project managers with a user-friendly interface which they can access anywhere in order to financially manage their projects and ensure compliance with funding conditions while delivering high quality conservation outcomes. “With this investment in systems, FFI aims to gain internal efficiencies which ultimately means scaling up our conservation work while maintaining or reducing overhead costs – enabling us to deliver more funding over the long-term directly to our mission,” adds Anna.

Access Dimensions will allow FFI not only to financially manage its grants and resources in a more efficient and effective way, but to systematically collate non-financial information and project documents. Mark Jorgensen, head of NFP account management, comments, “It’s exciting to see organisations such as FFI, who have worked with Access Group over a number of years, with Access SelectHR, expand their organisation’s growth and objectives with further investment into Access Group’s dedicated management solutions.”

“We look forward to taking advantage of Access Group’s experience in implementing Access Dimensions & FocalPoint with similar global charities who, like FFI, operate in complex funding and programmatic environments. We expect to make big efficiency gains in our day to day project management, which will ultimately mean greater delivery of conservation outcomes,” concludes Anna.
