Fluidata simplifies expense process with Access aCloud

Colchester, UK – 26 March 2012 – High speed internet service provider Fluidata, is significantly reducing its amount of paper processes with the purchase of aCloud Expense. The new solution will replace a time-and-space consuming paper-based expense system as Fluidata continues to find ways of pushing more of its business processes into the cloud.

Nigel Sanders, finance director at Fluidata, said, “We’re an anti-paper company and have been filling filing cabinets with expense forms, which just isn’t very environmentally friendly. All our servers are on a private cloud so getting a cloud-based expense solution made sense.”

With an automated system Fluidata will free up the resources of the finance team. “Receiving paper expenses, entering them into payroll and then the finance system is very time consuming. With aCloud Expense the approval process is automated, goes real time and you get to see the receipt immediately.

“aCloud Expense auto uploads into Access Dimensions, our back-office finance system. We just have to have a quick final look at all expense claim uploads and then process them. We can pre-set the expense so we don’t waste time on journal entries,” continued Nigel.

Fluidata will also be using aCloud Expense to process corporate credit card expenses. “It can be a nightmare getting invoices that the card holder has processed and getting the statements. Now they upload the documents straight away – it’s just a much simpler process.”

“We looked at Concur and aCloud, but the simplicity of Access aCloud won us over. It did exactly what we wanted, and due to the flexibility and price of aCloud it’s easy to justify the ROI,” Nigel concluded.
