Former Iris-exec to lead service sector software division at Access Group
UK, London, 13 August 2015 – Access Group, a leading author of integrated business management software, has appointed ex-Iris executive Andrew Forster to head up one of its major divisions which offers solutions tailored to the services industry. The move comes following growth of the division and last week’s acquisition of First Choice Software which provides solutions to recruitment agencies.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the IT sector, Andrew has a proven track record in UK and international business, working with private-equity backed organisations and achieving double-digit organic growth. He played an integral part at Iris, helping to take it from around £1m turnover to circa £60m, including four private equity buyouts.
Andrew commented, “Having worked within private-equity backed business for 14 years, I understand the demands and the evolution process in what is a fast-paced, rapid growth environment. Access Group is expanding both through acquisition and organically; it’s very dynamic which really appealed to me. Access Group provides software into a wide range of organisations within the service sector including, construction & engineering firms, financial services firms, technology companies, PR and communications agencies – and with the recent acquisition, recruitment agencies.
