  • New solution will centralise information
  • 85 staff will use the self-service module

Colchester, UK – 30 January 2013 – Property law specialist J B Leitch LLP is looking to improve its HR processes and communication with staff with the introduction of a new human resources and payroll solution from Access Group (Access). J B Leitch are Access’ 51st customer in the legal sector.

With the business growing substantially over the past few years the HR Department saw a need to invest in a new HR & payroll solution. Andy Hull, Performance Manager at J B Leitch, said, “As the company grows it’s become increasingly important to tighten up our processes and procedures, and improve the lines of communication between all staff. With all 85 employees using SelectHR’s self-service module we’ll be in a better position to regularly connect with our entire team.”

Many paper-based processes will now be automated, with all information centrally stored. “With HR & payroll seamlessly linked we’ll only have to make any changes once, this combined with automated workflows will contribute to a huge reduction in the administration burden,” continued Andy. J B Leitch will be introducing automated workflows for their new starter processes, appraisals, reviews and objective setting.

J B Leitch viewed various systems but really liked the Access product. “We were impressed with the user interface and the development plan that Access had in place. We spoke to a number of businesses that already use the system with very positive results, including other law firms, which is a sector where Access is gaining real traction.”

“We like to build lasting relationships with our business partners, and we feel that Access and their team is a business which shares our values and a desire to innovate and integrate our numerous IT systems. The sales consultant we dealt with comes from a CIPD background and demonstrated a clear understanding of the challenges we face and the needs of our organisation,” concluded Andy.
