J&C Joel chooses Access SupplyChain to support its business growth

J&C Joel, a world leading manufacturer of flame retardant fabrics, flooring, drapery and stage machinery for the entertainment and live event industries, has chosen Access SupplyChain from Access Group to better service its growing business.

Amir Raza, Finance Manager for J&C Joel, commented, “Our current system no longer suits our needs as we’ve evolved considerably over the past 10 years, having opened five new offices worldwide. With Access SupplyChain all of our subsidiaries will be on the same system. It will make consolidation of group accounts much easier as well as provide faster access to information.

James Wheelwright, CEO for J&C Joel continued, “As a growing business, we’re always looking for ways that we can improve our operations. Access SupplyChain will help to streamline our processes, reduce the number of clicks needed to perform any task, as well as reducing the huge number of manual reports that are currently being created. It will make life much easier.”

The company is also looking to improve the level of information within the business and to aid its marketing function. Claire Taylforth, Head of Marketing for J&C Joel, said, “A business is only as good as the quality and accessibility of its information. We’ll have better visibility of projects being carried out and it will help us to provide great service to our customers and enable stronger relationships with our suppliers.”

Whilst choosing the right software was critically important to J&C Joel, the business also wanted to make sure it was teaming up with the right partner. Amir concluded, “We were impressed with the size and infrastructure of Access. The on-going support was a huge bonus, backed up by a sizable support team. When Access met with us they were very thorough in demonstrating how they could provide the solution to fit our needs.”
