New financial solution at Quercus Publishing will save time and support growth
- Access Dimensions to support ambitious growth plans to hit £100m turnover
- Timesaving of 25% targeted with single data warehouse
Colchester, UK – 07 January 2013 – Quercus Publishing Plc, the UK publisher who publishes the highly successful Stieg Larsson trilogy, has invested in a new financial management solution from Access as it looks to increase its revenues from £20 to £100 million turnover. Access Dimensions will integrate with Quercus’ Biblio solution and with its third party distributor’s platform.
The publisher has an ambitious growth plan and has been looking for a solution that provides the flexibility and reporting capabilities that it currently doesn’t have. “Access has worked with publishers for a number of years and is familiar with the specific requirements of a publishing business. It provides Quercus with a solution that will support us as our business grows,” said Colin Adams, chief financial officer and chief operating officer, for Quercus Publishing.
“As well as our strategy to increase our turnover from £20 – £100 million we are targeting a 25% reduction in manual processes. We will see a huge timesaving with automated management accounts, forecasting, a reduction in journal setup and posting times, bank recs, and processing suppliers. We are planning to have single data entry for the lifecycle of each book, with Access Dimensions integrating with our Biblio solution, and distributor systems. This will help us make the move to an efficient paperless environment,”
Quercus Publishing will be implementing Access Dimensions to replace its existing solution. For more information on Access and its solution portfolio contact Diana Ellul-Grech on 0845 345 3300 or visit http://www.theaccessgroup.com.
