Aceve appoints Bas de Laat as Chief Customer Officer to lead new Customer Experience function
STOCKHOLM – 4th of May 2026. Aceve today announces the appointment of Bas de Laat as Chief Customer Officer. Bas joins the executive leadership team and will establish and lead a new Customer Experience function, bringing Professional Services, Customer Success, and Customer Support under unified leadership across the Nordics, Benelux, and Germany.
The appointment marks a strategic step for Aceve. As AI reshapes enterprise software, the company is investing in customer intimacy as the foundation of a durable competitive advantage. The new function is designed to deepen relationships, accelerate adoption, and drive value realisation at every stage of the customer lifecycle.
Bas brings more than 20 years of enterprise SaaS experience. Most recently, he led a Customer Success organisation at Informatica, responsible for $180 million in ARR across EMEA and LATAM. Before that, he served as CS Strategy Director at Salesforce. He has a track record of building scalable, cross-regional customer models in complex multinational environments.
"As AI reshapes the competitive landscape, durable advantage comes from being closer to our customers than anyone else," says Claus Thorsgaard, CEO of Aceve. "Bas has the experience and track record to build that capability at scale. I'm pleased to welcome him to the team."
At Aceve, Bas will be responsible for retention, adoption, expansion, and value realisation across the company's seven European markets. The new structure supports Aceve's ambition to combine scalable European technology with deep, locally informed customer relationships.
Bas de Laat assumed his role as Chief Customer Officer effective 1 May 2026.
