Kristina Willgård to step down as CEO of AddLife during 2022
Kristina Willgård has today informed AddLife AB:s (publ) Board of Directors that she plans to step down as CEO. The search for a new CEO will now begin and the transition will take place when succession has been completed or during the latter part of 2022 at the latest.
Johan Sjö, Chairman of the Board of Directors, says: “I would like to thank Kristina for her outstanding contributions to AddLife. AddLife has had strong growth since its IPO in 2016 and is today a leading European niche player in Life Science with a presence in most European countries. Under Kristina's leadership, AddLife has made a fantastic growth journey both in terms of sales and earnings. Growth has taken place both organically but also through many successful acquisitions. As CEO, Kristina has created a group with a strong corporate culture that is also financially well equipped for continued growth. The Board and I regret that Kristina has chosen to resign, but we respect her decision to resign from her position. We are pleased that Kristina will remain in her role for a longer period to ensure an orderly transition for the future CEO. The search for a successor begins now ".
Kristina Willgård comments: “After almost seven years as CEO of AddLife, it is with mixed feelings that I take this step. I have had the privilege of leading the journey from creating AddLife based on the spin-off made from Addtech 2016 to become a Large Cap company on Nasdaq Stockholm. Today, AddLife is a leading Life Science company in Europe in selected niches. AddLife has a well-established corporate culture with committed employees who do a fantastic job every day. I am proud of the privilege I have had to lead the group and work with all the fantastic colleagues during these years. Today, the company is stronger than ever and I have therefore made the decision that now is the right time to hand over the leadership for the future.”
