Addnode Group acquires Scanscot Technology

STOCKHOLM, November 2, 2020 - Addnode Group today announced that its subsidiary TECHNIA, the #1 knowledge leader in PLM and Engineering, have acquired Scanscot Technology AB (Scanscot) - a Nordic leader in advanced simulation - based in Lund and Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2019, Scanscot’s net sales amounted to SEK 38 million.

Scanscot is the leading Nordic reseller of SIMULIA, the simulation software portfolio from Dassault Systèmes. The company has also developed BRIGADE - an Abaqus/SIMULIA-based standalone software suite for simulation of bridges and civil infrastructure. Scanscot brings extensive knowledge and experience of advanced simulation services to a wide range of industries such as Civil Infrastructure, Big Science, and Nuclear.

Signing and completion took place today November 2, 2020 and Scanscot will be consolidated as part of Addnode Group's Product Lifecycle Management division.
