STOCKHOLM, February 12, 2015 - Kartena, a subsidiary of Addnode Group, has received a letter of allotment by the city of Gothenburg for the planning and monitoring of its welfare sector. The delivery will be made as a SaaS and the order value is estimated at approximately
SEK 35 million over five years with the possibility of extension.

The new planning and reporting system will primarily be used for the planning of agreed actions, monitoring the work carried out and route optimization in the welfare sector in all ten district administrations and social resource management of the city of Gothenburg. The welfare sector includes elderly care, health care, disability care and individual and family care.

The assignment includes implementation of projects, integration, maintenance and support during the contract period. The basis of this SaaS is Kompanion, Projektstyrning Prima AB's web-based planning tool for home care services, which is already used by a large number of municipalities and private companies. Addnode Group owns 37% of Projektstyrning Prima.

"We are very pleased to be chosen to deliver this prestigious assignment to the city of Gothenburg. This is a very interesting project as it becomes a shared planning and monitoring system for Sweden’s largest public provider of elderly care”, says Rikard Linnroth, CEO of Kartena.

"We have for some time now focused on strengthening our offering to the softer parts of the public sector. The city of Gothenburg has chosen to work with us in the welfare sector, which proves that we have a strong offering and we see suitable growth opportunities in this area", says Staffan Hanstorp, President and CEO of Addnode Group.

The letter of allotment from the city of Gothenburg to Kartena AB is a declaration of intent to enter a final agreement. In accordance with the Public Procurement Act it is now a standstill period of 10 days before the contract can be signed.
