The Swedish Sea Rescue Society secures its critical infrastructure with an end-to-end solution for operations and critical communications from AddSecure.

The Swedish Sea Rescue Society and AddSecure have been collaborating for several years. AddSecure has helped the voluntary organization to build up a nationwide dispatch system, TeleCall, to quickly and efficiently call in resources that save lives along Sweden's coasts and large lakes.

Now the collaboration is being expanded and the Swedish Sea Rescue Society is placing its complete operations into a secure server environment at AddSecure. The end-to-end solution, TeleCall Cloud, consists of secure servers, robust communications equipment and a private cloud-based VPN connection to the organization's 72 sea rescue stations around Sweden.

“This concerns our most important infrastructure, to alert our lifeguards to life-saving operations. Every second counts and high reliability is a must. AddSecure was the obvious choice for us and it feels safe that the communications is secured and monitored 24/7, and that the networks are protected", said Adam Goll Rasmussen, Rescue Services Manager at the Swedish Sea Rescue Society.

"We are proud of our long-standing cooperation and happy to also have gained the trust to run and secure the operations for the Swedish Sea Rescue Society's important and life-saving work. Our solutions are especially designed for critical societal organizations that do not want to handle the complex technology behind secure communications and operations", said Magnus Hammarsten, Head of AddSecure Smart Rescue Nordic.

The TeleCall Cloud service, deployed at the Swedish Sea Rescue Society on April 14, is a secure critical communications solution. The solution consists of a server platform installed and operated in AddSecure's data center with full redundancy. The customer's services are protected both physically and logically. The physical facility is security rated and uses multiple access levels for access to equipment and applications. The service is monitored 24/7.
