Budget 2011: Shipley Principal Welcomes Extra Apprenticeships
The Principal of a leading Yorkshire college, Nav Chohan, welcomes additional support for apprenticeships outlined in today’s budget. As the Chancellor George Osborne promised an extra 40,000 annual apprenticeship places, Nav Chohan said: “An apprenticeship enhances the skills and training of young people and gives them the opportunity to experience employment while also receiving continued support from, and spending one day a week at, the college.
