ÅF Pöyry wins major order from Chr. Hansen in Denmark

ÅF Pöyry has signed a new contract with the bioscience company Chr. Hansen A/S.

ÅF Pöyry will modernize Chr. Hansen’s production plant in Roskilde, Denmark. The order is an end-to-end solution. The plant in Roskilde produces probiotics used in food and pharmaceutical industries.

The contract covers an upgrade of the interfacing units to support earlier delivered fermentation line to reach higher capacity. ÅF Pöyry is responsible for project management, process and electrical design, installation, commissioning and qualification of all necessary components

The new production plant is expected to be completed in November 2020.
