Västfastigheter signs framework agreement with AFRY
Swedish property management company Västfastigheter has conducted a major tendering process, inviting bids for consultancy services. AFRY was awarded first place in the categories HVAC, energy and fire protection, as well as a third place in the category electricity. The framework agreement covers 2020-2021 with the option of extension.
Västfastigheter is a large property management company with technology-centred properties. They build, rebuild and run critical healthcare environments as well as properties related to culture and education within the entire Västra Götaland Region in western Sweden.
With ambitious sustainability targets, Västfastigheter works to make their properties more modern and efficient, and to reduce energy usage.
“We are proud and happy to continue cooperating with Västfastigheter, and to contribute to realising their development plans. Sustainability is key to AFRY and we look forward to contributing with our multidisciplinary expertise,” says Urban Kumlien, Regional Manager within AFRY’s property offer.
AFRY has a long experience of working together with Västfastigheter on several projects, including but not limited to Högsbo Hospital and Skaraborg Hospital. The framework agreement on HVAC, energy, fire protection and electricity will cover 2020-2021, with the option of a further 1+1 year’s extension, at an estimated value of about SEK 30 million per year.
