American Muslims Peacefully Champion Prophet Muhammad’s True Picture
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to launch nationwide “Muhammad Messenger of Peace” campaign
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is launching the first ever nationwide “Muhammad Messenger of Peace” campaign across its 73 chapters in March. It aims to afford all Americans the opportunity to understand Prophet Muhammad’s views on human rights, women’s rights, war and peace, and interfaith harmony in a respectful and collegial environment. The new campaign is a civilized response to the ongoing mockery and baseless propaganda against the Prophet of Islam.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA’s 73 chapters around the country will host public events, open to all. Everyone in attendance will receive complimentary biographies of Prophet Muhammad’s life and soft copies of the Holy Qur’an with English translation.
With this campaign, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA has launched MuhammadFactCheck.org to provide accurate and detailed rebuttals to dozens of baseless allegations against Prophet Muhammad.
“Education and understanding are the bridges upon which Islam was founded,” said Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah, National Vice President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, “and it is only with education and understanding that we can all live together peacefully and respectfully. This is what this campaign is all about.”
All Americans are invited to attend and ask any questions about Muhammad, Islam and the Qur’an. To find the event nearest you, visit MuslimsForPeace.org/events. And, join the conversation on Twitter with hashtag #MyMuhammad.

About Ahmadiyya Muslim Community:
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, reformist and fast-growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Community spans more than 200 countries with membership exceeding tens of millions. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is among the first American-Muslim organizations.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long- awaited messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian, India. Ahmad claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. The Community believes that God sent Ahmad, like Jesus, to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival and moderation. He divested Muslims of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings.
