The project was to install a production line in the existing facility with the capacity of 7,000 tons per year for the production of a variety of modified ethylene copolymers. Aker Kvaerner's scope of work included engineering management, procurement services and construction management.

This is the second project delivered to DuPont by an Aker Kvaerner China project team led by Mark Zhao, Senior Project Manager, in recent years. DuPont is a very important client of Aker Kvaerner and has substantial investment plans in China. Aker Kvaerner aims to leverage the experience from the previous DuPont projects to pursue upcoming projects in the area.  

The Aker Kvaerner unit responsible for executing the Packaging & Industrial Polymers (P&IP) China Extruder Project has been Aker Kvaerner E&C (Shanghai) Co., Ltd (Aker Kvaerner China).
