Aker Solutions awarded contract for chlorine dioxide plant in Russia

1 June 2010 - Aker Solutions has signed a contract with Ilim Group to supply an integrated chlorine dioxide plant for Ilim's pulp mill project in Bratsk, Russia.  The contract value to Aker Solutions is approximately USD 18 million. Aker Solutions opens new manufacturing facility in Pickering, Ontario Canada

15 June 2009 - Aker Solutions has opened its new 90 000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. The new facility will allow Aker Solutions to capitalize on market demand for fabrication of its proprietary equipment for acid plants, by more than doubling its production capacity.   The original fabrication facility was established in Toronto in 1961, and has been designing and fabricating custom shell and tube heat exchangers and process equipment for the sulphuric acid, nitric acid, petroleum and chemical industries for nearly 50 years.

Aker Solutions signs partnership agreement with ACEC of Saudi Arabia

12 March 2009 - Aker Solutions has signed a partnership agreement with the Arabian Consulting Engineering Centre (ACEC) to support its plans to grow in the engineering services market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
