Exploration drilling commenced on the Dalsnuten prospect

Shell has as operator for production license 392 commenced drilling operations on the Dalsnuten prospect.

 

Dalsnuten is a large gas prospect, located about 370 kilometers off Norway in the Norwegian Sea.

The prospect is being drilled by semi submersible drilling rig Aker Barents at a water depth of about 1450 meters.

Det norske will have a 10% ownership interest in the license when drilling operations has been completed.
