Deputy Managing Director Stefan Björkman takes over responsibility for the business segment Asset Management. Björkman will also be in charge of implementation of the Group's Action plan for 2015. He will continue in charge of Group Treasury, mortgage bank and life insurance businesses, IT and Investor Relations.

Following the new distribution of resbonsibilities, Björkman leaves the position as CFO for Aktia plc. Financial Director Fredrik Westerholm has been appointed new CFO and member of Aktia plc's Executive Committee. Westerholm has been in charge of the Group's financial operations since 2009. Previously, he has been employed as CFO at Aktia Non-Life Insurance and as auditor at KPMG and TeliaSonera.

Deputy Managing Director Robert Sergelius has decided to leave his position in the Executive Committee. Sergelius continues in project duties at Aktia  for a transition period.

As of 1 January 2013, members of the Executive Committee of Aktia  are Managing Director Jussi Laitinen, Deputy Managing Director Stefan Björkman, Deputy Managing Director Taru Narvanmaa, Deputy Managing Director, CRO Jarl Sved, CFO Fredrik Westerholm and Director Magnus Weurlander.
